UNEXPECTED AND SURPRISING
Directly from the harsh soil of Vale do São Francisco, Bahia, this wine represents the ultimate expression of the Syrah grapes that are grown in Brazilian territories. Testardi is the Italian term for “stubborn”, which alludes to the firmness and persistence of this grape variety, grown in a harsh environment and used in the production of this incredible wine.
AN AUTHENTIC RED WINE
Syrah grapes produce powerful wines with distinguishing features. Made with handpicked grapes, this wine has a high aging potential and a remarkable taste.
REMARKABLE AND SURPRISING
Produced in the arid lands of Vale de São Francisco, Bahia, this wine represents the maximum potential of Syrah grape in Brazil. The Italian word testardi means stubborn, referring to the endurance of a variety grown in inhospitable lands resulting in a great Miolo wine.
2015 Vintage (750ml)
Aromas of ripe red fruits such as strawberry and black plum, with hints of ginger, nutmeg and smoked nuances.
A highly structured, medium-bodied wine because of its early integration with wood. Also balanced and unctuous, with a refreshing acidity and a long aftertaste.
Best served at 16 to 18 ºC.
A great pair with flank steak, rump skirt, ribeye steak, filet mignon and other grilled red meats seasoned with salt. The typical Brazilian barbecue is a great choice.
